In questa escursione natalizia, abbiamo l’opportunità di visitare il Presepe, facente parte del circuito Terre dei Presepi, presso la Chiesa di Nicosia, ex Convento di S. Agostino, e di scambiarsi gli auguri. La visita sarà preceduta da un meraviglioso anello escursionistico che ci porterà a visitare il Castello della Verruca, che con la sua posizione strategica e la sua architettura, ha rappresentato  un caposaldo inespugnabile in difesa di questi territori, e la torre di Caprona. Ci troveremo nella parte est dei Monti Pisani, cammineremo in parte sul Cammino di S. Giulia, e da questi luoghi potremo dominare la pianura pisana e l’intera valle del fiume Arno con scorci meravigliosi sul mare.

Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, car sharing is NOT expected and not recommended among the participants not living together in the activity.

THE PRICE INCLUDES:
Organization and coordination of activities; assistance with an environmental hiking guide pursuant to LR 86/2016 and subsequent amendments. The Guides are in possession of the civil liability insurance required by law. Participants in the excursions are NOT covered by personal accident insurance.

THE FEE DOES NOT INCLUDE:
Transfer costs, meals and anything else not explicitly mentioned in the program.

What you need for excursions:

Compulsory equipment:
Trekking shoes preferably high, backpack, water (at least 1 liter), packed lunch, hat, any rain gear (waterproof jacket, backpack cover).

Recommended equipment:
Trekking poles and camera.

We ask all participants to limit the use of disposable material and to bring a glass. In fact we generally offer coffee or other drinks but we have decided not to bring more shot glasses / glasses and spoons.
We do not want to teach anyone anything, but we feel a duty, for those like us who love nature, to try to behave in a more respectful way.

The organizers reserve the right to modify or cancel the excursion in case of risk and / or unforeseen situations for the participants.
