More than an excursion, a real journey…. in history, in nature, in a unique territory.

We will visit the abandoned Fornello railway station on the Faenza line, the ruins that once made up the town, the former quarry used for the extraction of the stone used for the same railway, where there are still sections of an old Decauville railway with several trolleys now prey to rust. We will get to know a life that once was, with its anecdotes and little big life stories.

But not only!

We will travel along the Muccione stream, with its many waterfalls and pools.

We will pass by now forgotten chestnut woods and beautiful beech woods, accompanied by autumn colors.

It will also be an opportunity to rediscover many forgotten paths, no longer used, but which testify to a time when the relationship between man and this territory was closer.

A unique opportunity to get to know a Mugello that has returned to the wild, in which we will be accompanied only by the sounds of nature.

Walk with us!

The exact meeting place, which will coincide with the start of the activity, will be outdoors and will be communicated exclusively to the participants.
