THE Drum Circle

THE Drum Circle

In February 2025, “THE Drum Circle” was born, thanks to our members Livia and Sara, “facilitators” of our events.

What is a Drum Circle? A Drum Circle consists of chairs arranged in a circle, each with its own instrument (djembe, bass drum, maracas, cymbals, sticks, bells, etc.). Each participant freely chooses the chair they want to sit in, instinctively choosing their instrument. Each Drum Circle is assisted by one or more Facilitators, who guide the activity through its performance phases, moving from a learning phase to a listening phase, and then becoming a musical orchestra made of pure improvisation.

Anyone can join the Drum Circle; you don't have to be a musician. The drum circle is a captivating place, where friends and strangers sit side by side, and there's no need to talk, just listen: listen to yourself and others. It doesn't matter what you know or can do, each of us has our own rhythm, our own music, and we can bring it into the circle. So, united by rhythm—an improvised rhythm, an unwritten rhythm—we play together and share a moment of joy that we'll carry with us to other circles and into our daily lives.

For us, inclusion and sharing are important... Walk with us!
