Walk in a wonderful Nature Reserve a stone's throw from Florence and even less from Prato and Pistoia: The Acququerino Biogenetic Nature Reserve.

The species present and the natural environment offer one of the best examples of biodiversity in the vicinity of our city.

A unique, suggestive environment that we will experience with a short walk in the woods at dusk.

Noises, smells and unique sensations in this period of the year, we will be in the mating season of the Deer, in which we also hope to hear the typical roar (no guarantee, nature is not in command !!!!).

We will know the habits, the characteristics and we also hope to make some "close encounters".

We propose this walk, really suitable for everyone, together with a nice snack-dinner in the beautiful refuge (typical cutting board and artisan bread of the place: wonderful !!!!!!) and then return, by now it will be dark, to the starting point.

The exact meeting place, which will coincide with the start of the activity, will be outdoors and will be communicated exclusively to the participants.

for hikers E (circular route; length about 5.00 km; positive / negative altitude difference about 120 meters);

Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, car sharing is NOT expected and not recommended among the participants not living together in the activity.

THE PRICE INCLUDES:
Organization and coordination of activities; assistance with an environmental hiking guide pursuant to LR 86/2016 and subsequent amendments. The Guides are in possession of the civil liability insurance required by law. Participants in the excursions are NOT covered by personal accident insurance.

THE FEE DOES NOT INCLUDE:
Transfer costs, meals and anything else not explicitly mentioned in the program.

Compulsory equipment:
Preferably high trekking shoes, backpack, water, front lamp for re-entry, any clothing for rain (waterproof jacket, backpack cover).

Recommended equipment:
Trekking poles, camera.

We ask all participants to limit the use of disposable material and to bring a glass. In fact we generally offer coffee or other drinks but we have decided not to bring more shot glasses / glasses and spoons.
We do not want to teach anyone anything, but we feel a duty, for those like us who love nature, to try to behave in a more respectful way.

The organizers reserve the right to modify or cancel the excursion in case of risk and / or unforeseen situations for the participants.
